Lear Siegler Australasia Pty Ltd is an Australian owned company which specialises in the engineering design, integration, supply, maintenance and operation of environmental monitoring equipment and systems.
The company was established in 1975 as a division of Lear Siegler Inc. (LSI) in Santa Monica, California USA, to introduce a range of equipment manufactured by LSI for analysis of stack gas and ambient air to Australia. The equipment was intended to be used for control of combustion efficiency, for measurement and control of emission of pollutants and also for measurement of pollution in ambient air.
In February 1982 LSA became a privately owned Australian company and in the years since has remained at the forefront of the industry and continues to introduce leading edge technology to the local market by sourcing specialist equipment from the world’s best manufacturers.
